About Me
My earliest photographic memories are attending Market Drayton camera club with my nan... She was an inspiration to me, teaching me the basics and lighting a passion for photography within me.
My first camera was one of her 'point & shoot' fully automatic cameras, taking it on walks, school trips and holidays.
As she aquired new cameras, I was lucky enough to be able to uprade too and try new techniques with better equitment...
On a trip to Kenya in 1997 I was introduced to the world of digital cameras, fascinated as I talked to one of our fellow travellers whilst she downloaded images direct from her camera, edited them and switched memory cards for the following days game drives. I knew right there that digital technology would change the way I thought about photography, as my family and I snapped our way through seventy 24/36 exposure films on the trip, having to print everything before we could reveiw our images...
I stayed loyal to film until finally succumbing, going digital in 2006...
and finally...
A big hug for Kristina Fescenko for her advice and design skills whilst developing the site eyetoeye logo...
